According to SCMP , the following are the most powerful businesspeople in Asia. These individuals not only possess vast wealth but also have diverse business ventures and numerous philanthropic initiatives that have a significant impact in the region.

1. Mukesh Ambani - $87 billion

Ambani is the chairman and largest shareholder of Reliance Industries, India's most valuable company. Mukesh is also currently the richest person in India and Asia. In 2020, he was among the top 10 richest people in the world .

Reliance invests in a wide range of sectors, from telecommunications and energy to retail in both rural and urban India. In early 2022, Ambani also announced plans to invest $80 billion in renewable energy.
