Phu Quoc – the second most beautiful island on the planet.
During a meeting with businesspeople last weekend (July 13th) on Phu Quoc Island, at the beginning of the conversation, Mr. Le Quoc Anh – Secretary of the Phu Quoc City Party Committee – announced extremely good news: our Pearl Island has just been ranked second in the world by the travel magazine Travel & Leisure (USA).
Accordingly, Travel & Leisure magazine published the list. The 25 most beautiful islands and archipelagos in the world in 2024 were listed, with Phu Quoc ranking second with a total score of 94.41/100. Maldives came in first with 95.63 points. Over 700,000 readers, including international tourists and experts, participated in the voting process.

The aforementioned selection is part of the annual World's Best Award, which aims to identify outstanding services in the tourism sector and serves as a guide for travelers to find destinations with excellent services. The selection criteria are based on six factors: natural attractions or beaches, activities and sights, restaurants and cuisine , friendly people, and the value the destination offers to visitors.

A leading American magazine wrote: Phu Quoc Island, located off the west coast of Vietnam, boasts the greatest strength of being an emerging tourist destination in the world. While some Southeast Asian beaches are developing, Phu Quoc has maintained its tranquility. But that doesn't mean you can't find luxury hotels there. One example is Regent Phu Quoc, which features a rooftop infinity pool, and New World Phu Quoc, ranked among the top 4 best resorts in Southeast Asia and top 100 in the world in 2024, also by Travel & Leisure.
