As May arrives, the streets are ablaze with colorful flowers. The purple of the crape myrtle, the red of the flamboyant tree, the yellow of the cassia. Each tree has its own unique beauty, creating a vibrant tapestry of summer colors.

Crape myrtle, flamboyant, and cassia flowers bloom in vibrant colors along the road surrounding Dong Chiec Lake ( Thanh Hoa City).

On the flower-lined streets, the women took photos as souvenirs.
Lagerstroemia is one of the earliest flowering plants. Its flowers bloom in clusters, interspersed with the green of the leaves, standing out along streets such as Lac Long Quan, Trieu Quoc Dat, Vo Nguyen Giap Boulevard, Le Loi Boulevard, Hoi An Park, Dong Chiec Lake... and have become a familiar flower to the people of Thanh Hoa City every summer.

The crape myrtle trees, with their small trunks and wide canopies, stretch along Le Loi Avenue.
Unlike the crape myrtle, the flamboyant tree flower is associated with the innocent memories of school children, witnessing the growth of countless generations of students. The vibrant red blossoms herald the arrival of summer, the color of farewells to the old school year and the beginning of summer vacation. Every time I see a flamboyant tree flower, the lyrics of the song "Pink Phoenix Flower" resonate in my mind...
"The bicycle baskets were full of flamboyant flowers."
Where are you taking my summer?

Besides the purple of the crape myrtle and the red of the flamboyant tree, the golden shower tree boasts a vibrant yellow, bringing a fresh and lively touch to summer.

The golden shower tree blooms for about two months, from May to July each year.
