The theme of these murals is also inspired by the natural scenery of the rocky plateau. Ha Giang, we must make each painting in harmony with the surrounding context, creating a feeling of being imprinted in the mountains and forests of our homeland," he said.
The paintings recreate the countryside scene with familiar details such as yin-yang tiles, stone fences, sa moc trees, corn fields, etc.
Mr. Hung also revealed that because the construction conditions here are very difficult, they have to increase the number of workers to complete each project in about 2-3 days. This helps tourists to admire the unique mural houses as soon as possible when traveling from Meo Vac district to Dong Van district, especially during the Khau Vai festival.
The unique and colorful murals not only contribute to beautifying the landscape, human life and housing architecture culture of Meo Vac people, but also help visitors better understand their homeland and the lifestyle of the highland people.
