According to Ziprecruiter statistics, the current average salary for a translator can be among the highest-paying jobs, at around $53,000 per year, equivalent to a translator's salary in Vietnam of approximately 15-20 million VND per month, depending on the size of each company.

Tour guide

For tour guides, English is an extremely important communication tool. Besides being proficient in English, tour guides need essential skills such as time management, conversational skills, negotiation skills, and in-depth knowledge of history, geography, and landscapes.

According to information posted on the Saigon International College website, the average salary for a tour guide is approximately 6 million VND/month, with the highest being 30 million VND/month. For domestic tour guides, the salary ranges from 7-10 million VND/month. For international tour guides, the salary is approximately 15-30 million VND/month. This does not include additional allowances from the company and other sources of income.

Restaurant and Hotel Management

Vietnam's tourism industry is growing steadily, welcoming thousands of international visitors each year. Many large hotels and restaurants are springing up in major cities and popular tourist areas to cater to international tourists. Therefore, proficiency in English is a significant advantage that can help you secure a favorable job in hotel and restaurant management.

In the hospitality management industry, depending on your position, salaries can range from 6-8 million VND/month for small and medium-sized restaurants. Restaurant managers in hotels and resorts can earn 15-20 million VND/month, according to the Ho Chi Minh City College of Tourism.

Flight attendant

If you love traveling and want an attractive salary, then being a flight attendant is definitely an ideal career. Besides appearance requirements, a top priority is knowing English, or having several other languages ​​will be an even greater advantage.

Because you'll be interacting frequently with customers, knowing multiple languages ​​will give you an advantage in communicating with international passengers. In addition, you need to meet criteria regarding health, appearance, reflexes, problem-solving skills, and professional communication skills.

In Vietnam, the average starting salary for flight attendants is around 4.5 million VND per month. However, this is the basic salary and does not include other benefits and allowances. New flight attendants typically have to fly 70-100 hours per month.

Therefore, when adding allowances and benefits, the average salary for a flight attendant is approximately 21 million VND per month. In addition, flight attendants also receive travel allowances ranging from 2 to 10 million VND per month.

Logistics

According to Hong Bang University, Logistics is the intermediary stage that delivers goods (products or services) to consumers as quickly as possible; it includes activities such as transporting goods for import and export, managing fleets, warehouses, raw materials, order fulfillment, inventory management, and supply and demand planning. In addition, Logistics also handles sourcing raw materials, production planning, product packaging, and customer service.

Salaries for fresh graduates with little experience range from 5 to 9 million VND per month. Team leader positions offer salaries from 9 to 13 million VND per month. Furthermore, management positions can earn 80 to 100 million VND per month, depending on the company's compensation.

Information technology

Information technology, also known as IT, is the field that uses computers and computer software to transform, store, process, transmit, and retrieve information.

By studying this field, students will hone their specialized knowledge related to programming, software technology, manufacturing, repair, design, operation, maintenance, and computer repair.

An article on the BTECFPT British College website states that the average salary for programmers in Vietnam ranges from 10 to 25 million VND per month. Within the web programming segment, front-end programmers earn 8-13 million VND, while back-end programmers earn 11-15 million VND. Meanwhile, management positions command higher salaries ranging from 30-66 million VND, and this trend is expected to continue increasing in the future.
