Hanoi National University of Education said that the content of the exams corresponds to the content of high school subjects and exams; in accordance with the 2018 General Education Program and the teaching, testing and assessment orientation of the Ministry of Education and Training. From 2026, the exam is expected to expand to include subjects such as Economic and Legal Education, Information Technology and Technology.

The test combines multiple-choice and essay questions with appropriate scoring scales according to the structure of each test; assessing the level of understanding of core knowledge and the ability to reason, analyze, evaluate, solve problems and be creative. Candidates take the test directly in the examination room, answering questions by filling in the multiple-choice answer sheet and writing on the test paper.

About 22 schools use the results of this exam for admission. Candidates can take the SPT exam at the following locations: Hanoi National University of Education, Vinh University, Quy Nhon University and University of Education - Da Nang University. The registration period is from March 15 to April 15.

Ho Chi Minh City National University's V-ACT Aptitude Test

According to the announcement, from 2025, the structure of the V-ACT competency assessment test will be adjusted to match the 2018 General Education Program. Ministry of Public Security Assessment Exam
