Tomorrow morning, April 7, the first round of the National University of Ho Chi Minh City's competency assessment exam will officially take place, but on fanpages, candidates still have many questions.
Can I take the competency test if I lose my ID card?
The Ho Chi Minh City National University Competency Assessment Council notes that candidates must be present at the examination room at the scheduled time of 7:30 a.m. on April 7. When taking the exam, candidates must bring the exam notice (printed from http://thinangluc.vnuhcm.edu.vn/), valid identification documents as prescribed, and other documents announced in the exam notice (if any).
Candidates must present valid identification documents, including one of the following documents (original, valid, with personal information matching the information registered for the exam): identity card, citizen identification card, passport.
According to Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh, Director of the Center for Testing and Training Quality Assessment - Ho Chi Minh City National University, candidates who do not bring the required identification documents will not be allowed to take the exam.
"If a candidate loses his/her citizen identification card, he/she must have a passport (original, still valid) with information matching the registered information (full name, date of birth, ID number) to be allowed to take the exam," said Mr. Chinh.
In case you do not bring your exam admission notice, you must be present at the examination council room at least 30 minutes before the candidate gathering time to complete the necessary procedures.
If there are any errors in the last name, middle name, first name, date of birth, contact information (email, phone number, address) in the exam list and exam admission notice, candidates must immediately report to the exam invigilator before the exam time for timely handling.

What kind of lateness is allowed?
7:30 a.m. April 7, candidates are called into the exam room (to do procedures, listen to regulations...); 8:30 a.m. starts the exam; 11:00 a.m. ends the exam.
Candidates who arrive more than 15 minutes late (from the exam room door) after the test start time signal will not be allowed to take the exam.
In case a candidate arrives at the examination room door after the signal to start the test time between 8:30 and 8:45, the invigilator 1 will check the information and identify the correct candidate before allowing the candidate to enter the examination room to take the test.
In case a candidate arrives at the examination room 15 minutes after the test start time signal (after 8:45), he/she will not be allowed to take the exam that day. The examination center will keep the candidate in the council room until the end of the exam time.
Any absence on the day of the exam or failure to take the exam at that session will be considered a no-show.
In the exam room, what should you do and how should you do the test to avoid losing points?
In the examination room, candidates must comply with the regulations: sit in the correct position with their registration number as instructed by the examination officer. Before taking the exam, candidates must fully write their registration number, exam code and personal information on the exam paper, multiple choice answer sheet and scratch paper.
Fill in the blank fields at the top of the multiple-choice answer sheet accurately and completely (only write in one color of ink, do not use red ink). For the registration number, fill in all the numbers (including the zeros in front), and fill in the correct exam code on the two exam receipts.
Upon receiving the exam paper, you must carefully check the number of pages and the quality of the printed pages as notified by the exam supervisor. You must check the exam paper to ensure that it contains the correct number of questions as stated in the paper and that all pages of the exam paper have the same exam code.
If you discover that the exam paper is missing pages or is torn, damaged, smudged, blurred or has other errors, you must immediately report it to the exam supervisor in the exam room, no later than 15 minutes after distributing the exam paper. After checking the exam paper, you must place the exam paper under the multiple-choice answer sheet; you are not allowed to look at the exam paper content without the permission of the exam supervisor;
The test must be taken on the pre-printed multiple-choice answer sheet provided by the invigilator. Do not mark or make any personal marks. Only the candidate number, test code, and answer boxes may be filled in with black pencil. If you make a mistake or want to change an answer, you must erase the pencil from the old box and then fill in the box of your choice.
After finishing the test, can I leave the room early?
Candidates are not allowed to leave the examination room during the entire examination period. They are not allowed to submit their examination papers before the end of the examination time. In case of necessity, they may only leave the examination room with the permission of the invigilator and must be under the supervision of the invigilator.
Before leaving the examination room, candidates must return all answer sheets, test papers, and scratch paper that have been distributed to the invigilator. In case of emergency, the decision of the candidate to leave the examination room and the examination area will be made by the head of the examination site.
When the test time is over, you must stop working immediately. You must submit the multiple-choice answer sheet, test paper (enough pages) and scratch paper (enough number of pages provided) to the invigilator and sign two copies of the test receipt.
Candidates who are unable to complete the test must submit all answer sheets, test papers, and scratch paper and sign the examination room list. They may only leave the examination room after the invigilator has checked all answer sheets, test papers, and scratch paper in the room and given permission to leave.
