Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism has just announced a program to visit the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council and People's Committee headquarters on the occasion of National Day September 2 and thereafter.
On the occasion of National Day September 2, the headquarters of the People's Council - People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City will open for free to welcome visitors, then will open periodically according to the previously planned schedule.
Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism Le Truong Hien Hoa said that opening the national architectural and artistic relic of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council - People's Committee headquarters not only introduces a cultural and historical destination but also orients the development of unique tourism products, contributing to attracting domestic and foreign tourists to the city named after Uncle Ho.
Accordingly, the Headquarters of the People's Council - People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City will open to visitors and will then open periodically on the last 2 days of the month. It is expected that the program will have 5 tours from now until the end of 2023.
Specifically, starting on the occasion of National Day September 2 this year, the headquarters of the People's Council - People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City will open to welcome visitors and open periodically on 2 weekends at the end of each month to serve tourists in need.
Accordingly, the program to visit the national architectural and artistic relic of the headquarters of the People's Council - People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City will be organized in 5 phases until the end of 2023.
Phase 1 will be held on the occasion of National Day September 2 for 2 days September 1-2, 2023; Phase 2 on September 30-October 1; Phase 3 on October 28-29; Phase 4 on November 25-26; Phase 5 on December 30-31.
Each group consists of 30 people and is allowed to visit for a maximum of 60 minutes. During the tour, visitors will be introduced to the history, development and architectural style of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council - People's Committee headquarters as well as being introduced to the highlight designs.
In addition, visitors can also visit the international reception rooms and the map of Ho Chi Minh City crafted during the French colonial period; visit the main lobby with a balcony overlooking Nguyen Hue Street/Bach Dang Park; visit meeting room number 5.
At the end of the tour, visitors will be able to write their impressions if needed or visit the exhibition area introducing tourist souvenirs.
Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism notes that visitors must register in advance and be present at the tourist site 15 minutes before the registered time to complete security procedures. When visiting, visitors must bring their ID card or passport to verify information.
