As a soldier who participated in the resistance war against the US to save the country, when he was discharged from the army and returned to civilian life, despite being disabled at a rate of 38%, veteran Trinh Xuan Lam always wanted to contribute part of his strength and intelligence to the socio-economic development of his homeland.
After returning from the army, Mr. Trinh Xuan Lam took on the role of Production Team Leader, Deputy Director, Director of the local Agricultural Cooperative. With the determination to enrich the economy and contribute to society, in 1997, Mr. Lam decided to establish Tien Son Company Limited with an initial charter capital of only 500 million VND and 10 employees. Thanks to his dynamism and sensitivity to market mechanisms, the business he owns has grown more and more. From a small company, Tien Son Company Limited was transformed into a Corporation and in 2022 transformed into a group model. Tien Son today has risen to become a " big guy " in Thanh Hoa's textile and garment industry with 13 export garment factories in rural and mountainous districts of the province with a total investment value of more than 2,000 billion VND; creating jobs for more than 10,000 workers, mainly relatives of war veterans and families with revolutionary contributions, with an income of 8 to 10 million VND/person/month. Each year, the group has a revenue of hundreds of billions of VND, contributing tens of billions of VND to the state budget. Currently, the group's textile products are exported to major markets such as the US, EU... In particular, in March 2021, Tien Son Group was the first private enterprise in Thanh Hoa province to list shares on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, stock code AAT with current charter capital of over 700 billion VND.

After that, we had orders, creating jobs for many workers; at the same time, contributing a part to the State budget and social security".

Born and raised in the land of learning Hoang Hoa, and having 4 years working as a military doctor at the Infirmary of Division 384 under the 12th Corps (Truong Son Construction Corporation), veteran Doan Thi Lich was trained in the will and mettle of a soldier of Uncle Ho's army. After decades of working in the field of petroleum and transportation, since 2004, veteran Doan Thi Lich decided to shift her investment to the field of education. On an area of 2.5 hectares, she invested more than 20 billion VND to build Hoang Hoa High School - the first private school in Hoang Hoa. In 2010, the school was officially completed and welcomed 200 students of the first course. After 14 years of construction and development, the school now has 50 staff, teachers and 25 classes with nearly 1,200 students. From this school, nearly 3,000 students from Hoang Hoa coastal communes have graduated and are working and laboring all over the country.
In addition, CCB Doan Thi Lich also invested in building Thanh Lich Economic - Technical Vocational College; cooperated with Hai Phong Maritime College 1, Vocational College No. 4 - Ministry of National Defense, Thanh Hoa Trade - Tourism Vocational College to train occupations suitable to the socio-economic development situation of the locality, such as: Food processing, ship control, machinery repair and accounting. Thereby, contributing to providing high-quality human resources for businesses and the tourism industry in Hoang Hoa district in particular and Thanh Hoa in general.

Currently, the Thanh Hoa Province Veteran Entrepreneurs Association has nearly 490 members participating in its activities. During the 2018-2023 term, veteran entrepreneurs have been proactive, creative, and well implemented the motto "3 keeps, 1 fights, 1 seeks" (keeping labor, keeping the market, keeping cash flow; successfully fighting the pandemic and finding new markets) to maintain and promote production and business activities. The total revenue of veteran entrepreneurs in the entire association is estimated at 78,822 billion VND; contributing nearly 820 billion VND to the State budget; creating jobs for 42,600 workers, with an average income of 6.5 - 10 million VND/person/month.
Mr. Trinh Xuan Tan, Director of Thieu Yen Trading Company, Yen Dinh District, Thanh Hoa Province added: "Determined to get rich and rise up on the homeland. Currently, the company is developing well, creating jobs for hundreds of local workers. The main business is fertilizer trading to serve agricultural production for the province; there are 4-5 motorbike shops, there is a car shop.
