Winning with 235 points in the first quarter of the 24th Road to Olympia competition, Tran Trung Kien, a student at Le Hong Phong High School, Tay Hoa district, was the first contestant to bring the final telecast of the year to Phu Yen province.
To get the "golden ticket", over the past 10 months, the village school student spent a lot of time reviewing what he had learned and at the same time acquiring new knowledge.

"The scope of questions in the final match of Road to Olympia is very broad and difficult, so I always try and make an effort to research and learn more," Kien shared.
The Phu Yen "mountain climber" said that he has built a high-intensity review schedule. Every day, Kien spends about 3 hours reviewing for the Olympia exam. On weekends, Kien spends almost all of his time reviewing and mastering all subjects to build a solid intellectual foundation.
Besides reviewing knowledge, Trung Kien also spent time practicing typing skills, clicking the mouse, quick reflexes and reading questions quickly in the warm-up round.
"You and I both know the questions, but if we click to answer slowly, we will lose the chance to score points," Kien said.
Tran Trung Kien shared that he has prepared well both in terms of knowledge and spirit, ready to enter the final match taking place on the morning of October 13.
