On January 9, Tuoi Tre Online recorded at Gold Coast building, Loc Tho ward (Nha Trang city), Mr. Ngo Van Tai - director of Tan Tien Thanh Company, the construction contractor - and many workers were busy completing 4 snake mascots (young people also call them "baby Na") of the year At Ty 2025.
The most prominent of the four snake mascots this year is the king cobra mascot placed at the intersection of Ly Tu Trong and Tran Hung Dao streets.
According to Mr. Tai, the king cobra mascot is 3.5m tall, made with a steel core frame, covered with soft foam on the outside, and took 30 days to produce.
Below the king cobra mascot are dozens of pots of chrysanthemums and two “giant” apricot trees to create a spring scene.
“The king cobra mascot was made by 20 skilled workers, with apricot flowers attached to the body of the king cobra to add a spring highlight. Up to this point, these are the first mascots of the year of the Snake in Nha Trang,” said Mr. Tai.

Talking about the reason why the king cobra mascot is yellow, Mr. Tai said that yellow symbolizes prosperity and development.
According to Mr. Tai, the remaining snake mascots are also made with a steel core frame and all symbolize youth, prosperity, motherly love...
Regarding the idea of creating the king cobra mascot, Mr. Tai said that his company and the investor came up with the idea many months ago, and after many revisions, they started implementing it.
According to observation, the king cobra mascot is soft and curvy, with its tongue sticking out, its gills decorated with apricot flowers, and its eyes are big and lovely.
Mr. Vo Minh Quang (34 years old, resident of Nha Trang City) expressed his interest in this year's king cobra mascot.
Mr. Quang said that in his mind, the king cobra is a fierce, dangerous animal and should not be approached, however, through the creation of the Tet mascot, this animal has become close, friendly and cute.
“This king cobra mascot is very cute, the yellow color looks beautiful in pictures, I will definitely bring my family to take pictures with this mascot” – Mr. Quang said.
“This is the first time I have seen such a cute king cobra. This mascot looks very cute and looks great in pictures,” said Kim Ji Kyo (33 years old, Korean tourist).
