Accordingly, Nhu Thanh district will reduce from 14 commune-level administrative units to 6 commune-level administrative units.

Specifically: Establish Xuan Du commune on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population size of the communes: Can Khe, Xuan Du, Phuong Nghi.

Establish Mau Lam commune, on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population size of the communes: Mau Lam and Phu Nhuan.

Establish Nhu Thanh commune on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of the communes: Xuan Khang, Hai Long, Ben Sung town and the entire Yen Trung village, Yen Tho commune.

Establish Yen Tho commune, on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population size of the communes: Xuan Phuc, Yen Lac and Yen Tho (except the entire Yen Trung village, Yen Tho commune, due to the adjustment of Yen Trung village into Nhu Thanh commune).

Establish Thanh Ky commune on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population size of Thanh Ky commune and Thanh Tan commune (excluding Kha La village, Thanh Tan commune, due to adjusting Kha La village to the new administrative unit).

Maintain the status quo of Xuan Thai commune, natural area of ​​120.72 km2, population of 4,418 people.

Previously, the consultation of voters on the policy of rearranging commune-level administrative units received high consensus and support from the people and voters in the whole district, reaching over 90%.

After consideration and discussion, the People's Council of Nhu Thanh district resolved and approved the policy of arranging commune-level administrative units in the district with 100% of delegates in favor.
