At the seminar, Ms. Luong Thi Xuan - the founder of the first aviation exhibition in Vietnam and General Director of Vietnam Aviation Exhibition Joint Stock Company, shared: “The need for training human resources, especially high-quality human resources for the aviation industry, is always a pressing need, requiring the involvement and coordinated efforts of management agencies and aviation human resource training units. Therefore, training is essential. Currently, Vietnam Aviation Exhibition Joint Stock Company has also prepared training programs and collaborated with 8 countries that have leading aviation training schools in the world, such as CAC la Canada Aviation College, Newcastle University - UK, RMIT University - Australia, Epic Flight School - USA, Cardiff and Vale College - UK…”
Also at the seminar, Mr. Andrew Chumney, who has 40 years of experience at Boeing and is currently an advisor to the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand, stated that the development speed of Vietnam's aviation industry is very rapid. Especially after Covid-19, Vietnam's aviation industry has recovered strongly, along with the expansion and investment in over 30 airports nationwide. Therefore, in the next four years, Vietnam will need approximately 500 aircraft to serve air transport. Consequently, the aviation workforce, from ground staff to pilots, needs to be sufficient. This is essential for Vietnam to integrate and grow alongside the international aviation industry.
Ms. Luong Thi Xuan further stated that the 3rd Vietnam International Aviation Exhibition will be held in Ho Chi Minh City from October 11-13, 2023. The exhibition will showcase advanced aviation technologies, equipment, aircraft models, and feature presentations by leading international and domestic aviation speakers on aviation and its development in the new era.
