The highest industry group is not less than 28 points

Based on the 2024 high school graduation exam score distribution and the TSA thinking assessment exam, as well as based on the trend of candidates' registration wishes, the Admissions and Career Guidance Board of Hanoi University of Science and Technology has created an outline to predict the benchmark scores for 64 training programs of Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

Accordingly, with the method based on the 2024 high school graduation exam scores, the most attractive major group will have a standard score of no less than 28, the lowest major group will have the same score range as every year, around 20 points.

The group of majors that is expected to have the highest predicted benchmark scores belongs to the field of information technology with majors: computer science (IT1), computer engineering (IT2), data science and artificial intelligence (IT-E10). For many years, the predicted benchmark scores of this group of majors have always been among the highest at Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

The industry groups with the lowest predicted benchmark scores are in the range of 20 - 22.75 points, including environmental engineering (EV1), resource and environmental management (EV2), materials science and engineering (MS-E3), and textile technology (TX1). The 2024 forecast for these industries is slightly higher than the 2023 forecast of 0.75 points.

The predicted benchmark scores for both methods are based on the 2024 high school graduation exam scores and the thinking assessment scores of 64 training programs as follows:
