Post online to find accomplices to rob a villa

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Hung, Head of the Criminal Police Department (PC02), Ho Chi Minh City Police, said that after the 363 Ho Chi Minh City Police force patrolled and discovered a group of suspicious individuals appearing in District 12, they reported it to the unit's leaders. Major General Mai Hoang, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Police, directed the District 12 Police to coordinate with PC02 to verify and clarify this group.

Through that, the police identified Nguyen Duc Tien (born in 1993, residing in Quang Ngai province), Le Van Sy (born in 1998, residing in Kien Giang province), Do Van Tuan (born in 1996, residing in Nam Dinh province) as members of the Facebook fanpage "Group of bankrupt people who want to take risks". Tien was the one who posted the article on the group, inviting other members of the fanpage to go rob properties at villas.

Among them, Tuan and Si agreed to participate. After surveying many villas in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong province, Tien and his accomplices chose Ms. TTL's villa on Le Thi Rieng Street, District 12 to carry out the attack.

Nguyen Duc Tien masterminded the robbery

The head of PC02 said that this group of robbers was very daring, the group prepared 3 Thai knives, rolls of tape, black spray paint, 4 pairs of medical gloves. The group discussed that after breaking into the house, they would tie up the victim, threaten him with a knife to rob him; the group even forced the victim to transfer money to a bank account.

The three discussed and agreed to commit the crime on the night of April 29. However, before the crime, Tuan changed his mind and did not participate, but went home to Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province. Although one member withdrew, Si and Tien still carried out the plan.

In particular, we strive to solve 100% of robberies and 98% of snatching cases. As for crimes of throwing paint and debt collection, there have been no recorded cases in Ho Chi Minh City in the past 8 months," Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Hung shared.
