In the current integration trend, the concept of traditional Tet holiday of young people and young families has also become more modern and fresh. For them, Tet holiday is no longer just about "eating Tet" but also about going to "play Tet", to explore and experience new lands.

Young people today always have unique ideas to make the most of their Tet holiday, which is to be able to gather with their families and also take spring trips. For Mr. Bui Hoang Anh (Thanh Hoa City), instead of staying home to celebrate Tet like before, in recent years his family often chooses to travel during Tet.

He shared: "Spring trips will create more joy and connection for the whole family. At the same time, it is also an opportunity for family members to have more opportunities to learn and know more about the cultures of other lands. Therefore, every year, on the second day of Tet, my family starts taking spring trips. Because we have young children at home, to give them more experiences, we often choose spring trips to some tourist areas and destinations such as Pu Luong Community Ecotourism Area (Ba Thuoc), Anh Duong Farm (Yen Dinh), Linh Ky Moc Ecotourism Area (Thanh Hoa City)... Here, we can immerse ourselves in the peaceful Tet atmosphere, with fresh air, enjoy many local cuisines and learn more about the lifestyle, customs and practices of the people here".

In recent years, for young people, pilgrimages to spiritual lands in the early days of spring seem to have become an indispensable need. Because when coming here, in addition to praying for luck and peace for their families at the beginning of the new year, young people can also enjoy the fresh natural scenery and learn about the cultural and historical significance as well as the sacredness of the worshiped figures. From there, they can further foster their love for their homeland and country. Therefore, famous spiritual tourist areas and spots in the province such as Lam Kinh Special National Monument (Tho Xuan), Hon Bo Spiritual Cultural Park, Hoang Truong Commune (Hoang Hoa), Song Temple (Bim Son Town), Vom Pagoda, Truc Lam Ham Rong Zen Monastery (Thanh Hoa City), Phu Na Relic (Nhu Thanh) ... all attract a lot of tourists, especially young people who come in the early spring.

For many young families both inside and outside the province, Lam Kinh National Monument has long been a familiar and sacred place to return to every spring. Among the many people who come here, we had the opportunity to talk with the family of Mr. Bui Van Doan in Hung Yen province. He shared: "Although not born in Thanh Hoa, for my family, Lam Kinh has become a very sacred destination. Coming here, we feel peaceful and light because of the extremely airy and cool space. Lighting incense to show gratitude to our ancestors, remembering our predecessors, we pray for a favorable and peaceful new year, for our homeland and country to be increasingly renewed".

To meet the needs of spring travel and sightseeing of tourists, especially to create more space for young people to have more opportunities to explore and experience, Head of Lam Kinh Historical Relic Management Board Nguyen Xuan Toan said: In recent years, Lam Kinh has become an attractive cultural, historical and spiritual destination for tourists, especially young people. Therefore, in addition to arranging facilities and ensuring human resources, the management board also maintains the organization of display and exhibition activities to promote and introduce the cultural and historical values of Lam Kinh in particular and the typical cultural heritages of Thanh Hoa in general. Along with that, it is arranging more unique check-in points for tourists.

According to Vietnamese tradition, Tet is an occasion for family members to reunite, gather together, visit relatives, etc. But in recent years, Tet for many young people and young families has become more and more interesting when choosing the trend of spring travel experiences. This is also a journey for them to renew themselves, prepare mentally for plans and work projects for a favorable and peaceful new year.
