On the afternoon of September 8, Hanoi University of Science and Technology announced that to ensure safety for teaching and learning after the impact of storm No. 3, the university will adjust the study plan for the week from September 9 to 14.
Specifically, for students of course 69 (new students), all classes will be held normally according to the school year plan starting from September 9 (except for classes at D5 building which have been announced separately to be closed on September 9, and will continue to be closed on September 10 and 11).
For students of course 68 and earlier, theory classes and exercises will take place online from September 9 to September 14.
Physical education classes for all courses are suspended from September 9 to September 14, and will resume as scheduled from September 16.
From September 16, all courses will return to in-person learning according to the schedule.
The University of Public Health announced that due to the impact of storm No. 3, the September 9 class schedule for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students will change.
Specifically, theory classes have been switched from in-person to online, physical education classes have been rescheduled to other days, and practice and internship classes at schools and hospitals are still taking place as usual.
For new students, in-person classes will move to September 14, while online classes will continue as usual.
The school noted that classes from September 10 will take place as usual.
The School of Business and Administration, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, announced that due to damage after the storm, the school has moved the first political class for new students from September 9 to September 10, while other classes remain the same.
The University of Economics and Industrial Technology announced that due to unforeseen weather conditions, to ensure the safety of students participating in the program "Welcoming new students of the 18th course", the school has adjusted the schedule to welcome students to September 14 and 15, and September 10 and 12 to collect admission documents and conduct health check-ups.
Vietnam Maritime University also issued an urgent notice to suspend teaching, training, and examination activities... on September 9 and 10 to ensure safety and overcome the consequences of Typhoon Yagi.

Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry announced that the school will continue to allow lecturers and students to take a break from teaching and studying on September 9 and return to teaching and studying as planned on September 10.
Thai Nguyen University of Economics and Business Administration also announced that tomorrow, September 9, students in the school will continue to study online.
Previously on September 7, students of the University of Economics and Business Administration were switched to online learning to avoid the storm.
The University of Transport Technology previously announced that from September 7 to September 9, in-person classes at the school will switch to online learning according to the schedule. The school has postponed all exams and will move them to a suitable time.
Previously, about 30 universities had allowed students to take time off or study online from September 7 to 8 to avoid Typhoon Yagi.
