This is the content of the Forum on Improving the effectiveness of trade promotion, connecting supply and demand, and consuming products in the collective economic sector and cooperatives - 2024, held in Nghe An on May 17, 2024.
Participating in trade promotion activities - connecting supply and demand and displaying and introducing products in Nghe An province this year, there are 86 cooperatives and cooperative groups representing more than 6,000 cooperatives of 12 provinces and cities: Hanoi, Hai Phong, Yen Bai, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Dong Nai and Nghe An with 226 typical product lines, crystallized from the efforts and increasing progress of the collective economic sector and cooperatives.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Ba Chau - Chairman of Nghe An Province Cooperative Union emphasized: In recent years, along with the synchronous and outstanding development in the fields of socio-economic development, the collective economic sector with the core being cooperatives has had positive development in both quantity and quality.
Many cooperatives, cooperative groups and other types of enterprises in the collective economic sector have boldly invested in technological lines, applied scientific and technological advances to production and processing processes, creating many high-quality products. Many products of cooperatives and cooperative groups have been recognized as meeting the standards of 3-star OCOP or higher, have brands and competitiveness in the market, and are chosen by many domestic and foreign customers.
In Nghe An, the One Commune One Product Program of the province has developed strongly, 21/21 districts, cities and towns have participated in building and developing OCOP products, up to now the whole province has 567 products, of which: 37 products have achieved 4-star rating; 529 products have achieved 3-star rating and 1 product has achieved 5-star rating. Currently, the whole province has 215 cooperatives with products implementing value chain linkage production, 110 cooperatives, 56 cooperative groups have products achieving 3-star OCOP or higher, the cooperative group and cooperative area has 269/567 (accounting for 47.4%) products achieving 3-star OCOP or higher standards.
The whole province currently has 79 products of 77 units recognized as typical rural industrial products, of which the collective economic sector and cooperatives have 22 products of 20 cooperatives.
The product exhibition will be a practical bridge for cooperatives and cooperative groups to exchange and share experiences in building, producing and improving the quality of products. This will also be an opportunity for collective economic products to reach businesses, supermarkets, shopping centers and a large number of consumers.
This will create momentum for the collective economy and cooperatives to develop more and more, with more diverse products, meeting the needs of domestic consumers and reaching out to the international market. This activity will last until May 17.
