Many women benefit from the project on labor and employment.

The project "Promoting women's access to labor and employment laws when participating in the domestic and foreign labor market in Quang Binh province" was launched in May 2024, focusing on activities to raise awareness, provide legal knowledge on labor, employment, safe migration, and protect the legal rights of women, especially rural women, migrant women, and female workers working abroad.

Within the framework of the project, 1,726 people (71% women) have directly benefited; 5 safe migration clubs have been established and put into effective operation in 5 communes: Hai Ninh, Vinh Ninh, Truong Xuan (Quang Ninh), Hai Phu, Nhan Trach (Bo Trach) with 109 members (62% women).

Safe migration clubs are provided with training courses on knowledge and skills related to the field of labor and employment; communication activities and legal advice in the community; sharing activities between state labor management agencies and directly implementing initiatives in the community.

Each club member has gradually become familiar with, participated in and confidently shared in the project's activities.

The Project Management Board has coordinated with the Department of Labor, Employment, and the Department of Home Affairs to conduct capacity building training activities and share information on the formal labor market and safe and effective labor channels.

At the workshop, delegates heard presentations on the results achieved during the project implementation coordination process in Nhan Trach, Truong Xuan, Hai Ninh communes; discussed and made plans to implement activities to maintain the sustainability of the project.

The purpose of the workshop is not only to share the results of project implementation and develop a plan to maintain the sustainability of the project, but also to strengthen the connection between social organizations, state management agencies and the community in protecting the legitimate rights of female workers, especially women working abroad...
