On April 16, speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , the leader of the Nha Trang City Public Service Management Board said that they had decided to fine many businesses that violated contracts for organizing activities of umbrellas, chairs... for tourism business on Nha Trang beach.
In particular, An Khanh Trung Company Limited (Regalia Hotel) was fined twice with a total amount of 15 million VND for operating umbrellas and chairs on the beach in the wrong location, installing temporary changing rooms, signs and electrical cabinets on trees in violation of regulations...
BlueSea Beach & Bar Trading, Service and Tourism Company Limited was fined a total of VND15 million for two violations of organizing activities of placing umbrellas and loungers exceeding the permitted area, installing fixed huts and arranging a bar displaying wine, beer, tables and chairs to serve customers in the unlicensed beach area.
Nha Trang Bay Construction Investment Joint Stock Company (Imperial Nha Trang Hotel) and Lan Anh Company Limited (D'Qua Hotel) were fined 5 million VND/enterprise for operating umbrellas and chairs exceeding the permitted number.
Bien Xanh International Joint Stock Company (Louisiane restaurant) was fined 5 million VND for organizing food, beer, wine and beverage business activities in the area where the activity was held, including 50 tables and 200 plastic chairs.
According to the leader of the Nha Trang City Public Service Management Board, the inspection, review, and punishment of the above violations were carried out when Tuoi Tre Online published a series of articles reflecting on the situation of some hotels in Nha Trang arbitrarily leasing the beach to others, leading to many violations in tourism management.
