Many investors propose to implement projects in Binh Dinh

EVER YOUNG Company proposed to invest in Van Canh Industrial Park Project. Meanwhile, Dai An Sai Gon Joint Stock Company proposed to invest in Phu My Industrial Park Project.

The Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee has just assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to preside over and coordinate with the Economic Zone Management Board and relevant agencies and units to review, advise, and propose a report to the Provincial People's Committee on the proposal of two enterprises to invest in the industrial park project.

Previously, on July 26, 2024, EVER YOUNG Company issued Document No. 79/CV-EVER YOUNG regarding the proposal to invest in the Van Canh Industrial Park Project (in Van Canh district).

Next, on August 19, 2024, Dai An Saigon Joint Stock Company issued Document No. 08/24/CV-ĐASG on the proposal to invest in the Phu My Industrial Park Project (in Phu My district).

Mr. Dang Vinh Son, Head of the Binh Dinh Economic Zone Management Board, said that the Management Board is currently implementing the planning of Phu My Industrial Park. However, Van Canh Industrial Park has not yet been planned.

Therefore, the selection of investors to implement the above two projects will be carried out when the planning is completed.

Regarding the selection of investors to implement the Phu My Industrial Park Infrastructure Project, on May 18, 2024, the Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee assigned the Economic Zone Management Board to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies, units and localities to urgently develop the Phu My Industrial Park Construction Plan, submit it to competent authorities for consideration and approval, as a basis for organizing promotion and selecting investors to implement the project in accordance with the provisions of law.

Previously, on March 3, 2024, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province approved the task of the 1/5000 scale General Construction Planning of Phu My Industrial Park, Phu My district with a completion time of 12 months.

The total planning area is about 840.5 hectares (within the administrative boundary of My Tho commune is about 213.8 hectares; the administrative boundary of My An commune is about 626.7 hectares).

According to Binh Dinh Provincial Planning, Phu My Industrial Park and Van Canh Industrial Park are 2 of 5 industrial parks planned for development in the period 2021 - 2030. Of which, Phu My Industrial Park (development needs of 1,100 hectares) is prioritized for implementation in 2025 when qualified.

In Phu My district, GROWMAX Aquatic Feed Company Limited also proposed to survey investment in the high-tech agricultural zone for shrimp development in My Thanh commune.

Regarding the proposal of the enterprise and the request of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province assigned this Department to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Planning and Investment, the Department of Construction, the People's Committee of Phu My district and relevant agencies to organize specific work with GROWMAX Aquatic Feed Company Limited to promote investment in the high-tech agricultural zone for shrimp development in My Thanh commune, Phu My district.

At the same time, the departments guide the Company on current legal regulations on investment, land, etc. and report to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and direction.

According to the Department of Planning and Investment of Binh Dinh province, the Department has contacted GROWMAX Aquatic Feed Company Limited to work out specific details. At the same time, the My Thanh commune high-tech shrimp development agricultural zone currently has many investors interested in implementing the project.

It is known that on July 2, 2024, the Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee approved the termination of the My Thanh Commune Shrimp Development High-Tech Agricultural Zone Project of Thong Thuan Company Limited. Thong Thuan Company Limited (headquartered in Vinh Hung village, Vinh Tan commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province) is an investor that meets the preliminary requirements of capacity and experience in implementing the project, recognized by Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee on November 20, 2023.

However, after winning the bid, Thong Thuan Company Limited encountered difficulties and could not implement the project. Therefore, the investor requested to stop the project.

The project of High-tech Agricultural Zone for shrimp development in My Thanh commune has been approved by the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province for investment in 2023 with an area of about 218.96 hectares; total investment of more than 1,177 billion VND (implementation cost of 900 billion VND, compensation and site clearance cost of more than 277 billion VND).
