Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024 aims to introduce and widely promote the unique cultural and historical features of Ninh Binh province, the potential and strengths of tourism resources, especially promoting the outstanding global values of Trang An Heritage.
Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee Tran Song Tung, Head of the Organizing Committee of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024 said: Ninh Binh Tourism Week is an important event that contributes to promoting the image of the nature and people of the Ancient Capital, stimulating tourism demand in the low season, and at the same time positioning the Ninh Binh tourism brand on the domestic and international map. Therefore, the organization of the event must both honor the cultural, historical and human values of the Ancient Capital and ensure absolute safety for delegates, people and visitors when attending.
To ensure safety, security and create favorable conditions for people and tourists when coming to Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024, the Organizing Committee has arranged free transportation for tourists and people to attend the opening ceremony which will take place on the evening of June 1, at Dong Gung bus station, Tam Coc-Bich Dong tourist area.
Determining that the number of visitors to the Tourism Week, especially during the opening ceremony, will be very large, departments, branches, units and enterprises in the province continue to uphold the spirit of responsibility, perform well the assigned tasks to ensure the event takes place impressively and successfully.
Police forces, local authorities and businesses continue to review plans to ensure traffic safety, security and order, prevent fires and explosions, minimize the risk of accidents and avoid property damage to tourists, especially in parking lots.
Hoa Lu District People's Committee continues to direct communes to ensure environmental sanitation, strictly implement culture and tourism civilization, and prevent the occurrence of solicitation of tourists. The Department of Information and Communications, the Department of Health, Ninh Binh Electricity, and related units have fully prepared the conditions for the opening ceremony to take place safely and successfully. In addition, it is necessary to promote information and propaganda work on social networking platforms before, during and after the event, and at the same time widely inform people and tourists about traffic diversion plans to ensure traffic safety, etc.
During the Tourism Week, there will be many attractive and unique activities: Opening Ceremony of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024; organizing a walking street; performing and displaying OCOP products of the province; performing and displaying traditional handicraft products; Tam Coc golden season photo tour; survey program, introducing Ninh Binh tourism products (famtrip, presstrip)); art photo exhibition with the theme "Tam Coc - Trang An golden season"; cultural programs, mass art performances, water puppetry, Cheo singing, Xam singing, folk songs of 3 regions,...
In particular, this year, for the first time, Ninh Binh organized a special goat fighting competition, organized and performed traditional agricultural rituals, such as worshiping the god of agriculture, celebrating new rice... which were recreated with the participation of more than 2,000 people in the core heritage area.
The ceremony was held on Ngo Dong River; the official opening ceremony was held at Dong Gung bus station, with the participation of many famous singers: Ha Anh Tuan, Hoa Minzy. The program is free of charge.
Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024 with the theme "The Golden Color of Tam Coc - Trang An" will take place for 8 days, from June 1-8. The opening ceremony will take place at Dong Gung bus station, Tam Coc-Bich Dong tourist area.
