Lieutenant Colonel Cao Chi Luyen, Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of the City Border Guard, presented 100 books to the school.

At the program, the unit awarded more than 10 gifts to the “Golden Bell” contestant who answered the most questions; scholarships in the “Helping You Go to School” program, adopted children of the border guard station; and donated nearly 100 books to the school library.

In the series of activities, Phong Hai Border Guard Station coordinated with Dien Hai Secondary School to organize activities in response to the fourth Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025 with the theme "With books entering the era of national development". At the program, Lieutenant Colonel Cao Chi Luyen, Deputy Chief of Political Affairs, representative of the City Border Guard Command presented 100 books to the school; Phong Hai Border Guard Station presented nearly 100 books, supported 5 gifts for children in difficult circumstances; combined with propaganda for the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, propaganda about the law, sovereignty over seas and islands and the 50th anniversary of the unit's founding.

Previously, the City Border Guard Command also donated 500 books to the Training-Mobile Battalion, in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day, creating a reading habit to improve the spiritual life of officers and soldiers.
