Many fun activities at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism on the occasion of April 30 holiday

From April 30 to May 4, the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village will introduce a cultural space rich in the colors of ethnic groups in the Northwest and Northeast. The highlight is the highland market cultural space with the theme "Highland rendezvous".

The program aims to create a strong highland market atmosphere for visitors to experience and enjoy cuisine, traditional specialties, ethnic culture, and folk games at the highland market performed and introduced by the ethnic communities themselves to serve visitors.

The activities have the participation of more than 100 people from 16 ethnic groups who are active daily, including village elders, village chiefs, artisans, and ethnic minorities: Tay, Nung (Thai Nguyen); Dao (Hanoi); Mong (Ha Giang); Muong (Hoa Binh); Lao, Thai, Kho Mu (Son La); Ta Oi, Co Tu (Thua Thien Hue); Xo Dang (Kon Tum); Ba Na, Gia Rai (Gia Lai); Raglai (Ninh Thuan); E De (Dak Lak); Khmer (Soc Trang). In addition, the Organizing Committee also mobilized more than 60 ethnic minorities of Xinh Mun (Son La province), Ha Nhi, Mong (Lai Chau province).

The program "Highland Rendezvous" has many diverse and attractive activities such as: Recreating the highland market of the ethnic groups in the Northwest and Northeast with the atmosphere of going to the market, having fun and folk singing, folk dancing, folk games, enjoying the cuisine and products of the ethnic groups... Here, the Organizing Committee introduces 40 booths displaying products of the ethnic groups such as: Vegetables, fruits, buffalo meat hung in the kitchen, wine, spices, brocade... and introducing, promoting and promoting tourism in Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Ha Giang, Hoa Binh, Thai Nguyen, Ba Vi (Hanoi)... Including 10 thatched houses introducing traditional ethnic cuisine including chicken, local pig, colored sticky rice, grilled meat, grilled fish...

In addition, the Organizing Committee introduces the program "Colors of the Market" with folk song and dance performances, cultural exchanges between ethnic communities, with the theme of celebrating the country, praising the homeland, and regional ethnic identity. Here, visitors will be able to join ethnic people in games such as spinning tops (tu lu), playing pao, playing yen, swinging ropes, pushing sticks...

Participating in the program "Highland Rendezvous", visitors can also experience the space introducing traditional crafts and cultural activities imbued with the identity of ethnic groups such as: Re-enacting the Gau Tao festival of the Mong ethnic group (Lai Chau province); re-enacting the Mang Ma ceremony of the Xinh Mun ethnic group (Son La province); re-enacting the Rainy Season Tet of the Ha Nhi ethnic group (Lai Chau province).

During these days, in addition to introducing ethnic cultures, the Organizing Committee also deploys services for tourists to visit the route and experience tourism service packages.
