Many activities promote the unique local culinary culture values

From December 28 to 30, at Binh Son Marine Park and April 16 Square, the People's Committee of Phan Rang - Thap Cham City organized the event "Culinary Culture Week associated with sports and tourism activities of Phan Rang - Thap Cham City in 2023". Up to this point, the preparation work has been completed, ready for a series of activities to serve tourists.

The event took place with many attractive activities. In particular, the opening program took place at 7:00 p.m. on December 28 at Binh Son Sea Park; the food festival took place from December 26 to 31 at April 16 Square with nearly 100 food stalls and OCOP products, typical products of the province and some localities in the country. The Top Model Kid contest from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on December 28 and 29 at Binh Son Sea Park. Street art performances from December 28 to 30 with folk games, street art activities, acoustic music... Artistic kite flying festival; cross-country race and many other activities.

Our observations at April 16 Square, although it was not yet time for the opening of the culinary festival, many tourists came to visit, enjoy the food and buy local specialties with great interest and satisfaction. Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Tam, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City, said: My husband and I came to Phan Rang - Thap Cham City for a vacation and were very happy that it was right on the occasion of the culinary culture week event. Thanks to that, we were able to enjoy and learn about many dishes of Ninh Thuan. We also bought many local specialties, really liking the products made from grapes, apples, and seaweed.

Ms. Bui Thi Thuy, owner of the Spirulima algae stall of Spirulima Sunland Company Limited happily said: The unit is very proud to participate in the festival, contributing to promoting and introducing local specialties. This is also an opportunity for business organizations and individuals to meet, exchange, and learn production and business experiences. All products made from Spirulima algae of the unit are brought to the booth to introduce to visitors, along with many attractive promotions.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Phu, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phan Rang - Thap Cham City, said: The culinary culture week is associated with sports and tourism activities to honor and promote the cultural and culinary values of Ninh Thuan in general and the city in particular to visitors from near and far; attract tourists to visit, travel, explore and experience attractive destinations; at the same time, create a new atmosphere, new motivation, contributing to improving the spiritual life of the people and developing the city's socio-economy. This is a meaningful event, held for the first time in the area, so the city pays special attention to the preparation work so that the event takes place successfully, creating a good impression for tourists and local people.
