To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, Truong Sa island district organized many exciting and practical activities to review the Army's traditions.

From December 20 to 22, Brigade 146, Naval Region 4 organized many exciting and practical activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day. Units from the mainland to remote islands in the entire Brigade organized many activities for officers and soldiers such as: Visiting traditional houses, watching traditional films of the Army; organizing incense offering to pay tribute to heroic martyrs; organizing Party admission ceremonies; playing football, volleyball, tug of war; participating in building environmental landscapes, renovating and renewing flower gardens and ornamental plants...

The activities aim to arouse pride, encourage and motivate officers and soldiers in the entire Brigade to promote the spirit of independence, autonomy, self-reliance, and revolutionary traditions of the nation, Army, Service, Region, Brigade and unit; encourage officers and soldiers to be determined to perform well the task of being ready for combat, to excel in studying, working and overcoming difficulties; and to be determined to firmly protect the sovereignty of the sea, islands and sacred continental shelf of the Fatherland.
