* Training in safe house construction techniques
The training program was attended by representatives of the United Nations Development Program in Vietnam (UNDP), the Vietnam Department of Dyke Management and Disaster Prevention (VDDMA), the Provincial Women's Union, local authorities; and 42 households of Bao Nhai commune.

At the training session, people were trained by lecturers from Hanoi University of Architecture on techniques for repairing and building new houses according to the safe house model (hard walls, hard foundations, hard roofs). Thereby, contributing to raising people's awareness in solidifying houses, ensuring safety for households.
* Commencement of construction of public works in Ta Cu Ty commune
Implementing international emergency aid to overcome the consequences of natural disasters provided by the United Nations Development Program in Vietnam (UNDP), with the consensus of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, the People's Committee of Bac Ha district, the Party Committee, the local government, the Provincial Women's Union in coordination with UNDP organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of toilets and bathrooms for students of Ta Cu Ty 1 Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities.

The project includes 12 toilets and 12 bathrooms equipped with water heaters or solar water heaters, with a total cost of 900 million VND. The estimated construction time is 30 days, from the start date of April 15.
Ta Cu Ty 1 Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities is located in the mountainous commune of Ta Cu Ty. The learning and living conditions of students are still difficult. In particular, due to the circulation of storm No. 3, the school's facilities were damaged, significantly affecting the lives of students.
The construction of new, clean and safe toilets and bathrooms is the desire of teachers and students of the school. The project has been started to demonstrate the spirit of sharing, responsibility to the community and the deep concern of the Party committees, authorities, organizations and sponsors, thereby contributing to helping teachers and students in difficult areas.
* Unconditional cash support and crate distribution
As part of a series of emergency international aid activities to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, the Provincial Women's Union coordinated with UNDP to provide unconditional cash support to 360 households affected by storm No. 3 in Bac Ha district.

Accordingly, support for households with 3 or more people is 3.5 million VND/household; support for households with less than 3 people is 2.1 million VND/household. The total support cost is nearly 1.2 billion VND.

Implementing the program of distributing support boxes, the whole district has distributed 500 boxes of goods (warm blankets) to households affected by natural disasters, of which Bao Nhai commune has 150 boxes, Bac Ha town has 60 boxes, Na Hoi commune has 100 boxes, Ban Pho commune has 95 boxes, Lung Phinh commune has 95 boxes; total cost is 700 million VND.
