Many special activities attract tourists to the Thai festival in Quy Chau

The highlight of the ceremony is the Muong Chieng Ngam Temple Festival. The temple was built in 1927 by a district chief named Sam. The temple worships the gods who contributed to the construction of the Thai Muong, called Chieng Ngam (beautiful Muong). Embroidery, silk reeling, and weaving are competitions that are regularly held at the Hang Bua Festival. These are meaningful activities to encourage the women's movement. The beauty contest is always the most anticipated event at the Hang Bua Festival. The 2024 festival will have the participation of 27 contestants from 12 communes, towns and Quy Chau District High School.
