Hue earns more than 2,600 billion VND from tourism
With many unique cultural and tourism festival activities held since the beginning of the year, especially the very successful organization of the Opening Ceremony of National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 associated with Hue Festival, it has created a highlight and stimulated tourism in the first months of the year.

According to statistics, in the first quarter, the number of visitors to Hue is estimated at nearly 1.5 million, up 62% over the same period; of which, international visitors are estimated at more than 666 thousand, up nearly 50%; the number of guests staying is nearly 600 thousand, up 27%. Revenue from tourism is estimated at more than 2,600 billion VND, up more than 52% over the same period. The top 10 tourist markets to Hue include France, the US, Germany, the UK, Malaysia, Italy, Taiwan (China), Australia, Canada, and Thailand.
It is known that the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 has more than 160 activities. Of which, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and central agencies organize 8 activities, Hue City organizes 62 activities and provinces and cities in the country organize 102 response activities.
With a series of activities and events held during the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival 2025, Hue City expects to attract about 4.8-5 million tourists; of which international visitors account for about 38-40% of total visitors; total tourism revenue reaches about 10,800-11,200 billion VND.
Quang Nam estimated to reach 2,860 billion VND
In Quang Nam, the total number of visitors and tourist accommodation in the first quarter of 2025 is estimated at 2,240,000, an increase of 10% over the same period in 2024.

Of which, international visitors are estimated at 1,725,000, up 11% over the same period; domestic visitors are estimated at 515,000, up 9% over the same period; visitors are estimated at 1,495,000, up 9% over the same period; tourist accommodation visitors are estimated at 740,000, up 12% over the same period in 2024.
Revenue from tourism and accommodation in the first 3 months of 2025 is estimated at VND 2,860 billion, up 26% over the same period in 2024; social income from tourism is estimated at VND 6,721 billion.
Total tourism revenue of Hoa Binh province is estimated at 1,680 billion VND.
Hoa Binh is estimated to welcome 1,650,000 visitors, an increase of 5.8% over the same period in 2024, reaching 33.6% of the yearly plan.
Of which, international visitors reached 230,000, up 56% over the same period in 2024, reaching 23% of the annual plan; domestic visitors reached 1,420,000, up 1.2% over the same period in 2024, reaching 36.4% of the annual plan. Total tourism revenue is estimated at 1,680 billion VND, up 5.7% over the same period in 2014, reaching 31% of the annual plan.
Nghe An increased revenue by 23% compared to the same period last year
In Nghe An, it is estimated that in the first quarter of 2025, the whole province will welcome 2,220,000 tourists, of which 1,350,000 will be overnight visitors, up 7% over the same period in 2024; international visitors will reach 22,000. Total revenue from tourists will reach over VND 6,656 billion, up 23% over the same period in 2024.

In 2025, Nghe An will organize the Sen Village Festival and inaugurate the "statue of Uncle Ho visiting his hometown" to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh; organize a reception for the Northern Famtrip/Presstrip delegation to survey Nghe An tourism products and services in preparation for Cua Lo beach tourism and the Sen Village Festival in 2025; organize a Sen tourism culinary space, booths to promote OCOP products. In addition, deploy activities and coordinate to organize a conference to introduce and promote Nghe An tourism at the Vietnam International Tourism Fair - VITM Hanoi 2025.
Khanh Hoa tourism wins big
According to statistics from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province, in the first 3 months of 2025, the province welcomed more than 2.5 million visitors, an increase of 19.7% over the same period in 2024.
Of which, international visitors exceeded domestic visitors with more than 1.3 million arrivals, domestic visitors were estimated at 1.2 million arrivals. Total tourism revenue reached about 13,850 billion VND, an increase of nearly 21.8% over the same period in 2024.
The Korean tourist market has grown steadily, leading the international tourist market to Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa.
In addition, the arrival of 10 international cruise ships at Cam Ranh port in the first 3 months of the year has created a positive signal for the cruise tourism market. Khanh Hoa is expected to welcome 16 more cruises with about 29,850 visitors in 2025.
Besides, the reopening of direct flights from Russia has also initiated a strong comeback of this traditional tourist market.
Ho Chi Minh City increased 18.2% of international visitors

In Ho Chi Minh City, international visitors in the first quarter of 2025 are estimated at 1,635,620, up 18.2% over the same period in 2024, reaching 19.2% of the annual plan; domestic visitors are estimated at 8,574,194, up 6.3% over the same period in 2024, reaching 19.1% of the annual plan. Total revenue from tourism is estimated at VND 56,662 trillion, up 26.7% over the same period in 2024, reaching 21.8% of the annual plan.
Quang Ninh sets target of 55 trillion VND in revenue from tourism
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh province, in the first quarter of 2025, the province welcomed nearly 5.7 million visitors (an increase of 6% over the same period in 2024) with total tourism revenue estimated at VND 13,200 billion.
In addition to diversifying tourism products, the province is continuing to promote tourism promotion, multi-channel promotion such as cooperation with international KOLs (TikTok, Instagram, ..) and enhancing digital transformation, managing a healthy tourism business environment... Thereby, gradually realizing the goal of welcoming 20 million tourists with total tourism revenue reaching 55,000 billion VND in 2025.
