Accordingly, the highlight of this year's race is that for the first time, the route in Binh Thuy District is included in the running route. This place has many green, peaceful canal-side roads, without intersections or traffic conflicts. Along with that are ancient communal houses and long-standing pagodas. This helps athletes have more motivation to challenge themselves on the running track and have more opportunities to explore the beauty of a city with a river identity.
On the running route, athletes will pass through Vong Cung Road, which was considered the "ring of fire" during the resistance war (now recognized as a national historical relic) and many other famous landmarks such as Truc Lam Phuong Nam Zen Monastery, My Khanh tourist village, Cai Rang floating market... The running route allows participants to feel both the historical and cultural imprints and the spirit of innovation and development of Can Tho City.
Exciting running route makes athletes enjoy the experience
Along with the standardization of the running route, the Organizing Committee has invested heavily in operations to ensure the best experience for athletes. A series of water stations, medical stations, and mobile sanitation stations are arranged along the running route, along with hundreds of volunteers to ensure security and support.
