On October 19, according to information from the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, this province has just issued regulations on supporting job creation and vocational training for households and individuals when the state reclaims agricultural land and business land (generally referred to as people whose land is reclaimed), applicable from November 1.
Specifically, people whose land is recovered according to the Prime Minister's regulations (Decision No. 12/2024/QD-TTg dated July 31, 2024) will be supported in job creation, vocational training, loans, etc. when they meet the conditions and enjoy this policy within 5 years from the date of the land recovery decision.

Ca Mau will support vocational training at elementary level, training under 3 months, intermediate level, basic college level, applied in the field of vocational education in the province.
For example, vocational training at intermediate and college levels is supported with tuition fees for one course (equal to the actual tuition fees of the vocational training institution).
In addition, the above subjects are also entitled to student credit loans with methods, procedures, loan amounts,... according to regulations of the Prime Minister.
According to the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, people whose land is recovered are supported with free job consultation and referral at the Ca Mau Employment Service Center (under the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Ca Mau province) when looking for domestic jobs; are entitled to loans to support job creation, job maintenance and expansion from financial sources according to regulations.
In case of working abroad under contract, people whose land is recovered will be supported with vocational training, foreign languages, necessary knowledge, food expenses during training, travel expenses; and supported with loans to go to work.
These people are also supported with procedural costs such as passport fees, criminal record fees, visa fees, health check-ups, etc.
"In case workers encounter risks while working abroad, they will be supported to resolve the risks according to regulations," according to the People's Committee of Ca Mau province.
People whose land is recovered and participate in training programs to improve their professional skills according to the requirements of the supply contract between Vietnamese enterprises and foreign partners will be supported with 70% of the training costs of each course of the training facility.
"In the case of participating in high-level training programs under the agreement between the Vietnamese Government and the labor receiving country, training costs will be supported according to the agreement between the two Governments," the People's Committee of Ca Mau province added.
