Nong Thi Hang (born in 2002, from Tuyen Quang), is currently a 4th year student at the University of Commerce. Growing up in Tuyen Quang, the Tay ethnic girl nurtures her passion and pursues the unique cultural value of her people, which is Then singing.
Before joining the contest, the beauty was known as an actress, KOL... She participated in the comedy "Lang e vo" and the MV "Lạ lá đi moi khoc" by Minh Vuong M4U. In addition, Nong Thi Hang was in the Top 10 Beauties of Tuyen in 2022.
Currently, in parallel with studying, 10X also takes on the role of photo model and appears in many TVCs.
After registering for the contest, Nong Thi Hang began to thoroughly train herself in many aspects such as appearance, catwalk practice, other skills such as dancing, behavior, and good health and spirit.
"I started to learn more about Vietnamese culture, the beauty of traditional Vietnamese ao dai, and from there I felt more love for my country's culture. Besides, I also learned about the contest, the evaluation criteria, and the contest sections to prepare in the best way", the new 1st runner-up shared about her journey to conquer the contest.
In the final night, Nong Thi Hang scored points for her beautiful, gentle appearance and impressive talent and behavior. The beauty could not hide her joy and surprise when her name was called as the 1st Runner-up of Miss Ao Dai Vietnam 2024.
Sharing about this victory, Nong Thi Hang confided: “I am very touched by this result. The contestants in the final round are all very talented and capable. Winning the top position in the competition is a new milestone, and also a journey of conquering and surpassing myself.”
Taking on the new position, the runner-up hopes to contribute to introducing and promoting Vietnamese ao dai to everyone, especially the young generation Gen Z.
“Ao dai is a cultural symbol of Vietnam, representing the elegant, graceful and delicate beauty of Vietnamese women. To spread the image of ao dai to international friends, I think there needs to be efforts from many sides. Including: Encouraging Vietnamese women to wear ao dai, promoting awareness of the value of this costume; introducing ao dai through media channels, using social networks to share images and videos of ao dai with international friends, organizing international events to introduce the image of Vietnamese ao dai”, Nong Thi Hang shared.
Revealing her plans for the future, the runner-up said: "I will continue to pursue my dreams and ambitions, improve myself comprehensively and use my influence to create positive values for the community."
