On December 1, Vietnam Television announced 55 nominations for the VTV Impression Awards - VTV Awards 2023, including outstanding individuals and works in programs and films broadcast on digital platforms from noon December 1, 2022 to November 10, 2023.
Accordingly, this year's awards will include the following categories: Impressive Male Actor (6 nominations) ; Impressive Female Actor (6 nominations) ; Impressive TV Series (5 nominations ); Impressive Entertainment Program (6 nominations); Spreading Image (10 nominations); Impressive Documentary (6 nominations) ; Creative Program of the Year (7 nominations) and Promising Young Face (9 nominations) .
The two most popular award categories are Impressive Male Actor and Impressive Female Actor . In the Impressive Male Actor category, Manh Truong and Nhan Phuc Vinh, Trong Lan will "compete" with two veteran artists, Meritorious Artist Vo Hoai Nam and Meritorious Artist Hoang Hai. In addition, actor Duy Nam, who plays the role of "crazy" Dat in the film Black Medicine, is also nominated for the first time.
Meritorious Artist Vo Hoai Nam and Manh Truong are both nominated for "Impressive Male Actor".
In the category of Impressive Actress , the 6 beauties nominated are: Thu Quynh, Thanh Huong, Kha Ngan, Quynh Kool, Kieu Anh.
The 5 TV series nominated for Impressive TV Series include: Black Medicine, War Without Borders, Life Is Still Beautiful, Don't Make Mom Angry and Our Family Is Suddenly Happy.
This year, VTV Awards also has two new voting categories: Creative Program of the Year and Promising Young Face.
Thu Quynh, Thanh Huong and Quynh Kool were nominated in the category "Impressive Actress".
The Promising Young Faces category has 9 nominees in 3 fields: Culture, Arts and Sports. These are impressive faces such as: Director Pham Thien An, designer Duy Dao, musician-singer Tang Duy Tan, music production group DTAP, singer Ha An Huy, MC-digital content creator Tran Khanh Vy, shooter Pham Quang Huy, soccer player Nguyen Thi Thanh Nha and athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh.
The Creative Program of the Year category includes 7 nominations: First Morning 2023 - Warm Dawn, Spring Dance, Vietnamese Gala - Dear Mother's Language, Special Economic Magazine - Net Zero, New Year's Greetings - Kitten's Tet, 12 Days and Nights - Historical Border, Spring Flower Song.
