Along with other localities in the district, since the morning of April 19, Lien Chau commune (Yen Lac) has organized to collect people's opinions on the policy of rearranging administrative units at commune and provincial levels. Lien Chau has more than 2,000 voters representing households who need to be consulted.

To help voters grasp information about the policy of arranging administrative units at commune and provincial levels, the People's Committee of the commune has promoted propaganda work in many forms. In order to complete the collection of voters' opinions in an objective, democratic, timely and timely manner, Lien Chau commune has established 11 groups to collect opinions in 11 villages, divided into groups, went to each household to propagate and distribute referendum ballots to household representatives. All voters whose opinions were collected highly agreed with the proposed plan.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Thu Ich 2 village shared: “At first, we were also concerned about the plan to merge administrative units at the commune and provincial levels, but thanks to the propaganda and research on the mass media, I realized that changing administrative units is necessary for the development of state and local agencies and authorities. So I completely agree with the arrangement plan.”
According to the plan to arrange administrative units at the commune level, Yen Lac 1 commune was established from 3 communes of Dai Tu, Hong Chau, and Lien Chau. According to the synthesis of the People's Committee of Lien Chau commune, as of 4:00 p.m. on April 20, the locality had organized to collect opinions from 100% of voters representing households, the result was that 99.4% of voters agreed with the plan to arrange at the commune and provincial levels.
Yen Lac district has 16 administrative units, including 2 towns. According to the project, 16 administrative units in the area will be merged into 5 communes: Yen Lac, Te Lo, Yen Lac 1, Yen Lac 2, Yen Lac 3.
Implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, from April 19, the People's Committee of Yen Lac district urgently directed units and localities to carry out propaganda and collect opinions from voters representing households on the Project on arranging commune-level administrative units in 2025 of the province and the Project on merging the three provinces of Phu Tho, Hoa Binh, and Vinh Phuc.
By 4:00 p.m. on April 20, 100% of localities in the district had completed collecting voters' opinions on the Project on rearranging provincial and commune-level administrative units. The majority of voters who were consulted expressed their agreement and high consensus with the project. In addition, many voters expressed their enthusiasm for the project and hoped that after the rearrangement, it would create new space and development opportunities for the province and localities.
The representative of Yen Lac District People's Committee said that although the consultation took place in a short time, the residential area was large and the population was large, but thanks to the efforts of the members of the consultation team in the villages and residential groups, the organization of the consultation of voters in the district was carried out publicly, democratically, in accordance with the law, ensuring social order and safety in the area. The results of the consultation of voters are an important basis for the district to complete the plan before submitting it to competent authorities for consideration and decision in the coming time.
