Musician Lu Nhat Vu
Musician Lu Nhat Vu's current condition is very critical. He has to use a ventilator and is being actively treated by doctors at the Department of Cerebrovascular Diseases (Department A).
Musician Lu Nhat Vu has many famous compositions such as: "Afternoon on the Meo village", "Saigon girl goes to load ammunition", "Please rest assured, mother", "Southern land song"... The information that he was hospitalized for emergency treatment was of interest to musicians and singers in Ho Chi Minh City, especially encouraging poet Le Giang because she was very worried about him because his family was single and had no one to take care of him.
Musician Lu Nhat Vu, whose family name is Le, was born and raised in Thu Dau Mot - Binh Duong. In the summer of 1953, witnessing people respectfully burying a fallen Viet Minh soldier, 17-year-old Le Van Gat wrote the poem "The Soldier's Grave" and sent it to Dan Ta newspaper in Saigon, signing the pen name Lu Phong: "Let me enjoy a little of that spirit/ Let me brave the wind and rain/ I swear to risk my youth/ To liberate the world from this painful situation".

In July 1955, young poet Lu Phong crossed the border to the North and joined the youth volunteer force to work at the Cau Duong Plywood Factory. It was not until 1956 that he took the entrance exam to the Vietnam Music School.
On the occasion of the Vietnam Music School making a wall newspaper to welcome the Spring of Dinh Dau 1957, young poet Lu Phong wrote the poem "The Hour of Separation" and changed his pen name to Lu Nhat Vu.
He married poet Le Giang, both of them have accompanied each other on the path of art, he composes music, she writes poetry. Both are shining examples for the young generation of artists to follow in the path of art.
On March 14, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the People - Government - Party Bloc of Ho Chi Minh City held a ceremony to award Party badges to Ms. Tran Thi Kim (poet Le Giang) and Mr. Le Van Gat (musician Lu Nhat Vu) at their home in Thu Dau Mot city, Binh Duong province.
Poet Le Giang and musician Lu Nhat Vu have been together for more than 50 years.
Attending the Party badge awarding ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Van Nen - Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi - Secretary of the Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee... and local authorities where musician Lu Nhat Vu's family lives.
On this occasion, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen presented the 75-year Party membership badge to poet Le Giang and the 45-year Party membership badge to musician Lu Nhat Vu.
He and she are two party members who have been together for 50 years, overcoming many challenges, writing a beautiful love story about comradeship and faithful husband and wife. Not only that, both have made many contributions to the country's literary and artistic career.
