Attending the event were writer Bich Ngan - Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Writers Association , President of the Ho Chi Minh City Writers Association; writer Tram Huong - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Writers Association and colleagues: Nguyen Binh Hong Cau, Nguyen Hung, Bui Phan Thao, Do Viet Nghiem, Pham Trung Tin, Le Thi Kim, Tran Thi Thang, Phuong Huyen... and those who love her poetry.
According to poet Tran Mai Huong: "Only 1 week left, September 15th is the second death anniversary of Tran Duc Nhan, the husband of poet Hue Trieu. To complete this long poem, she had to face every slice of emotion. I know that many nights her hands typed on the keyboard with tears. Pain, regret, sorrow... many pent-up emotions were poured into words. The first thing she wanted to do when she wrote "Nguoi ve trong huong" is to dedicate it to the spirit of her beloved husband, then to the people who died in the pandemic."
The first verses of the long poem "The Returning in the Fragrance" , each word and each line, the poet Hue Trieu seems to whisper to her husband, and in this field of memories, she has carefully taken care of every small detail, recorded to limit herself, reminding herself not to forget the past years, the years that were so special to her life: "Do you remember, every rainy season/The magnolia flowers in our house are so fragrant/Each white petal falls silently on the garden grass/I gather each gentle handful of flowers/From what do I gather a few distant days...".

"With The One Who Returns in the Fragrance , Hue Trieu wrote, first of all, wanting to anchor the memories of her lover, even though that person still returns in the garden of memories and in the fragrance of her own vegetables and fruits," said the President of the Ho Chi Minh City Writers Association, Bich Ngan, moved.
Talking about the epic poem, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Writers Association Bich Ngan shared: "Late in the afternoon, I held the poetry collection in my hand and held it to my chest before opening it to read. The feeling that I was not only holding a work of a colleague's creation but also touching a heart struggling in the utmost pain, in the utmost love of a wife, a mother... lingered in me for a long time."
And not only written for her beloved husband who died of Covid-19, the epic poem Nguoi ve trong huong is also a work to commemorate the victims who died of the pandemic. The story of poet Hue Trieu's family is also the common plight of many other families during the terrible pandemic. Pain and resilience, loss and sacrifice in deep human love... The people of the city, despite their heavy burden of pain, together wiped away their tears of sadness, protected and supported each other to overcome the terrible pandemic, so that life could soon return to normal.
