Fabrics made from pandan leaves and green hemp are popular.

Green fashion and sustainable fashion are the goals of many designers, including young designers, in order to reduce waste to the living environment.

Designers look for environmentally friendly materials of natural origin, such as fabrics made from pandan leaves, green hemp, bamboo fibers, lotus silk, etc.

Designer Pham Ngoc Anh chose fabrics from pandan leaves, green hemp, hemp... to design the collection presented at Paris Fashion Week and London Fashion Week 2024 .

Pham Ngoc Anh said that fabric made from green hemp fibers (grown a lot in Dien Bien province) has good moisture absorption, UV protection, is light, and suitable for many designs.

Hemp fabric is handwoven by people in Ha Giang, Lao Cai, and Hoa Binh provinces to create soft fabrics.

Fabric made from pandan leaves is found in abundance in Nghe An province. Local people weave it with brocade to create fabric with unique patterns, meeting the creative needs of fashion.

From environmentally friendly fabrics, designer Pham Ngoc Anh creates impressive designs, leaving an impression in the hearts of international fashion fans.

Previously, designer Phan Dang Hoang introduced the Sonder collection at Milano Fashion Week.

He uses natural Vietnamese fabrics, woven and hand-dyed in warm colors such as black, brown and bright colors.

The collection is inspired by the works of sculptor Diem Phung Thi.

Phan Dang Hoang adapted the work through many different forms such as embroidery, embellishment and even lacquer, but still kept the spirit and most typical features of Diem Phung Thi's works.

Create new material from vinegar

Designer Tran Hung introduces new collection within the framework of London Fashion Week 2024.

He pioneered the use of Vegan Leather from Scoby, which is understood to be produced from raising vinegar with tea water. After processing, it creates an environmentally friendly material.

Tran Hung and his colleagues spent a lot of time researching this material, aiming for sustainable fashion.

As a handmade product, the main color scheme of the designs includes nude, black and white.
