Boeing 787 aircraft parts factory begins operations in Da Nang

This is the factory that was granted an investment policy certificate by the Management Board of Da Nang High-Tech Park and Industrial Parks in the program "Meeting Da Nang 2024", held earlier this year.

KP Vina Aviation Components Factory has a total investment capital of 20 million USD.

This is where aircraft parts are manufactured, processed and assembled, including auxiliary engine doors, MIC heads, wing boxes, gliders, and left wing support systems of Boeing 787 and Boeing 737 Max aircraft.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee, emphasized that the presence of this factory is a testament to the strong development of Da Nang as a high-tech center, with a favorable environment for businesses to invest in advanced technology fields and component manufacturing, especially in the aviation industry.

At the same time, it is said that this is the second project in the aerospace sector invested in Da Nang High-Tech Park after the Sunshine Aviation Components Factory project, UAC Vietnam Limited Liability Company (USA).

Mr. Cuong assessed the KP Vina Aviation Components Factory project as one of the key projects in the high-tech industry development strategy of Da Nang city.

At the same time, it is expected that with its experience and production capacity, this factory will not only improve the production capacity of aviation components but also create many job opportunities, promote the development of supporting industries, and improve the skills of Da Nang's workforce.

“With thorough investment and modern technology, we expect the factory to quickly come into effective operation, contributing positively to the development of the high-tech industry in the aviation sector at Da Nang High-Tech Park,” said Mr. Tran Chi Cuong.

Da Nang leaders assessed that the implementation of this factory project at Da Nang High-Tech Park is expected to not only contribute positively to the city 's socio-economic development, but also create the first foundation for the formation of an aviation and aerospace technology complex at Da Nang High-Tech Park.
