THE SECOND CHOLIMEX FACTORY IS GRANTED AN EU CODE AND FOOD SAFETY CERTIFICATE

Fully meeting the conditions and evaluation criteria, Cholimex Food's second food processing factory located at Lot C3-19 to Lot C3-24, VL7 Road, Vinh Loc 2 Industrial Park, Voi La Hamlet, Long Hiep Commune, Ben Luc District, Long An Province has been granted an EU code (TS 1265) and a certificate of food safety eligibility.

Specifically, on December 11, 2024, the Southern Region Department of Quality, Processing and Market Development officially granted the EU code (TS 1265) and food safety certificate to Cholimex Food Ben Luc Food Processing Factory after an assessment on December 5, 2024. The factory has a scale of nearly 4 hectares, a capacity of 10,000 tons/year, and started construction at the end of 2022 with a total investment of VND 850 billion. In July 2024, the factory continued to start phase 2, including expanding the production area, warehouse and upgrading the wastewater treatment system. When put into operation, the factory fully meets domestic and international food safety quality standards such as: ISO 9001: 2015; ISO 22000: 2018; British Retail Consortium (BRC) global standards for the food industry; meeting export conditions to the European Union with EU code (TS 1265) as well as ensuring HALAL standards for the Muslim market; KOSHER for the Jewish market. In addition, the factory also ensures requirements for sustainable and environmentally friendly production. According to the leader of Cholimex Food, the investment and operation of the Cholimex Food Ben Luc factory is considered a new development step to increase output, meet market demand, and at the same time contribute to bringing Cholimex Food products closer and closer to consumers around the world.
