Meritorious Artist Nguyen Si Tien - Director of the Youth Theater said that each play by Luu Quang Vu that the unit stages carries the creative aspirations of the artists when facing the challenge of renewing themselves.
"That is both a way to continue and affirm the lasting values of Luu Quang Vu's Drama, and to open up a space for dialogue between the audience and the thoughts and feelings he conveyed, through a new way of perceiving, decoding and contemplating.
"Luu Quang Vu's Drama Season" is a place to meet the works that contributed to creating the golden appearance of the country's stage and stirred our thoughts," said the director of the Youth Theater.

"You are not my father" is one of the last works by Luu Quang Vu performed by the Youth Theater in this year's drama season.
The play tells the story of a husband who abandoned his wife and children. After many years of separation and many events, he returned to find his family. The family was once again turned upside down by the storm of calculations and greed. The father-son relationship, the blood bond that had just begun to be nurtured, was now facing destruction and breakage.

The play "Who is the culprit" directed by Meritorious Artist Nguyen Chi Trung, tells about the daily life of urban people in the 1980s in Hanoi.

Meanwhile, the play “Green Chrysanthemums on the Swamp” directed by Meritorious Artist Nguyen Si Tien, through the love story of three characters, mentioned artificial intelligence machines that are increasingly penetrating into social life, helping to bring a comfortable and complete life.
However, sometimes this causes people to move to another value system, eroding sacred things, creating empty holes in the soul.

Along with the three plays above, the play “Song mai tuoi 17” also directed by Meritorious Artist Nguyen Si Tien, is the first stage work of playwright Luu Quang Vu, first introduced to the public at the Youth Theater more than 40 years ago, about the image of revolutionary hero Ly Tu Trong.
The play inspires today's youth with determination and not to back down from the path they have chosen, facing the new mission of today's and tomorrow's Vietnamese youth generation.
The works will be performed on the stage of the Youth Theater (11 Ngo Thi Nham, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi) from July 15.
