On November 20, Ms. Truong My Hoa - former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, former Vice President, President of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, Head of the "For Beloved Hoang Sa and Truong Sa" Club - visited and congratulated the teachers and staff of Nam Viet Kindergarten, Primary, Secondary and High School (Nam Viet School) on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20.

According to Ms. Truong My Hoa, Vietnamese Teachers' Day has a very sacred meaning. It is the day when people show their gratitude to the silent "ferrymen". "Celebrating Vietnamese Teachers' Day is not only to look back on the past but also to prepare for the future, making this meaningful day more and more brilliant and becoming a lasting tradition for the education sector" - Ms. Truong My Hoa emphasized.

Ms. Truong My Hoa visited and congratulated the teachers and staff of Nam Viet School on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20.

According to Ms. Truong My Hoa, at Nam Viet School, there are a total of 118 students, of which 72 are children of fishermen from the islands and soldiers on duty at sea. In addition, 46 students are children of ethnic minorities.

"Taking care of the children of soldiers on duty at sea or island fishermen, ethnic minorities is very meaningful. With the meaningful work of the school, it will certainly help soldiers feel secure in their work and together with the people, take responsibility for maintaining peace at the borders of the Fatherland" - Ms. Truong My Hoa said.

Hung Vuong High School (District 5, Ho Chi Minh City) also held a ceremony to celebrate the 90th anniversary of its founding and the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20.

At the ceremony, Ms. Truong Thi Bich Thuy, Principal of Hung Vuong High School, shared that over the past 90 years, the school has undergone many name changes and renovations. To date, the school is proud to be named after the National Ancestor Hung Vuong and is honored to have contributed to the education of many generations of students, and is the second home of many generations of teachers.

90th Anniversary Celebration of Hung Vuong High School

"Over the past time, the school has achieved many successes. Teachers and students of Hung Vuong High School do not consider those achievements as the pinnacle but as challenges and a sense of striving. The real achievement that we desire is to contribute to the national education system, together with families, to educate students to love, share, have awareness, knowledge and courage to enter life. They will be good citizens, living decently in society" - Ms. Thuy emphasized.

Ms. Truong Thi Bich Thuy expressed her gratitude and sympathy to the former teachers who lived a beautiful life and devoted their youth and intelligence to the school and to society. "I mentioned the word "sharing" because surely the teachers and staff had been happy and sad with the school and the students here" - Ms. Thuy said.

Attending the 90th anniversary celebration of Hung Vuong High School, Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, commented that during the 90 years of establishment, teachers of all generations have worked hard to build and nurture Hung Vuong School to become stronger and more impressive.
