(BGDT) - The service road and corrugated iron fence separating the Hanoi - Dong Dang railway line through Ngo Quyen and Xuong Giang wards (Bac Giang city) have just been completed to ensure the safety of households living along the route. However, many people have arbitrarily built temporary walkways across the railway.

Recently, the People's Committee of Bac Giang City has invested nearly 28.5 billion VND to build about 1.3 km of service roads and fences on the Hanoi - Dong Dang railway from Km50+050 to Km53+200, renovate the drainage system, expand the level crossing at the intersection of Xuong Giang - Nguyen Khac Nhu roads across the railway... The completed project ensures aesthetics, eliminates self-opened paths, and contributes to ensuring traffic safety on railways and roads in this area.
However, currently, many households and individuals along the road section through Ngo Quyen and Xuong Giang wards do not follow the service road but arbitrarily build temporary paths such as using planks, wooden doors, bricks, and concrete slabs to cross the railway to Xuong Giang street. This behavior violates regulations on railway traffic safety, poses potential danger, and causes traffic insecurity.

(BGDT) - Although the length of railway lines passing through Bac Giang province is not much, there is a high risk of unsafety due to hundreds of spontaneous cross-roads and a railway bridge shared with the road - Cam Ly bridge (Luc Nam).
