In August 2016, when asked about Donald Trump, Rose stated: "He's weird. I really hope he's not president." By May 2024, Rose had endorsed Trump in the 2024 US presidential election, officially confirming his support in a speech at the Republican National Convention in July 2024.
“During the election, I was ‘boycotted’. Now? All the protesters are silent. They see he has changed the country for the better,” Rose told the publication.
She said of her critics: "Luckily I don't care and I'm always quiet until everything is proven. We all need to get back to reality and have conversations to make our country a better place again."
