Users can experience the updated version of the virtual assistant integrated with AI technology on the VinFast VF 8 Lux Plus car line from July 2024.

The highlight of this version of VinFast virtual assistant integrated with generative AI is the ability to interact and converse naturally and seamlessly, while possessing a huge knowledge base.

Smarter virtual assistant

VinFast virtual assistant can flexibly meet diverse user needs without being limited to sample commands.

An example of seamless interaction is that a virtual assistant can understand and interact according to a conversation with the same context: "Give me a schedule for a 4-day, 3-night vacation in Nha Trang?", "Give me a specific schedule for the first day?" and "My family has two children, 10 and 15 years old, where is a suitable place to go?"...

Specifically, the vehicle information lookup feature helps users easily know details about every aspect of the vehicle such as: technical specifications, warranty - maintenance policy, information about the battery and charging station; answer questions about the services provided by VinFast...

This feature can even advise and compare car models and car-related information to enhance user experience. For example: "Compare VF 9 with gasoline cars in the same segment?", "Compare the cost of using VF 9 with gasoline cars of the same type in a month?" or can be personalized for each specific case: "A family of 4 people, 2 adults and 2 children under 10 years old, what car should I buy?", "With 600 million, what car should I buy?" ... providing visual comparisons to support users in making decisions.

With a diverse knowledge base, virtual assistants are also capable of providing general information quickly and accurately: "How many districts are there in Hanoi?", "What is the population of Nghe An province?", "How many kings were there in the Ly Dynasty?"...

In addition, the virtual assistant also provides information on many interesting topics such as movies, zodiac signs, menu advice and recipes... In addition, many other interesting features are also being further developed and integrated into the car in the near future.

Pure Vietnamese generative AI model

According to Mr. Nguyen Kim Anh, product director of VinBigdata (Vingroup): “VinFast virtual assistant (developed from ViVi virtual assistant) is a key product of VinBigdata. Adding AI technology to the product aims to make the interaction between customers and virtual assistants more natural and intelligent. This technology can also be easily integrated into products of the Vingroup ecosystem in particular and other companies and corporations in general.”

To master generative AI technology, the VinBigdata team has researched and tested many different options, choosing a “non-majority” approach to design model architecture to improve performance and computing speed, saving infrastructure costs.

This approach has helped VinBigdata create a miracle by completely mastering AI technology generated from the deepest core layer in just 9 months since the global "ChatGPT explosion", significantly shortening the time compared to other "giants" in the world.

Following the success of ViGPT - "Vietnamese version of ChatGPT" launched at the end of 2023 by VinBigdata, the virtual assistant Vivi integrates AI technology that generates hundreds of billions of Vietnamese data units to increase naturalness in communication as well as optimize the information synthesis process.
