Tonight (March 9), the Miss World 2024 final will officially take place in Mumbai (India). In this important competition night, Miss Mai Phuong and more than 100 contestants will compete to find the successor of the reigning Miss Karolina Bielawska.

According to the Miss World Organizing Committee, from more than 100 contestants participating in the journey to conquer the Miss World 2024 crown, the contest's Organizing Committee will select the final Top 40. After that, the Miss World Organizing Committee will continue to select the Top 12 contestants (in which each continent has at least 2 contestants). Next, from the final Top 12, the Miss World Organizing Committee will continue to select the Top 8 (each continental region will have 2 contestants). After that, from the final Top 8, only the Top 4 will compete to find the owner of the Miss World 2024 crown and 1 runner-up.

Before the Miss World 2024 final, the beauty site Sash Factor predicted that the beauty from the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago would be crowned; Mai Phuong - the representative of Vietnam, would be in the Top 20. The beauty site Missosology predicted that the beauty from the Czech Republic would succeed Miss Karolina Bielawska. However, this beauty site did not include Mai Phuong in the prediction list of the final Top 20.

Mai Phuong's proud achievement before Miss World 2024 is the Multimedia Challenge award. The Vietnamese representative received enthusiastic support from the Miss World, Runner-up and the beauty-loving community. Mr. Tran Viet Bao Hoang - Head of the Organizing Committee of Miss Universe Vietnam and the reigning Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 Bui Thi Xuan Hanh also sent congratulations and encouragement to Miss Mai Phuong. "Congratulations to Miss Mai Phuong for entering the Top 40 finalists after winning the Multimedia Challenge award. Surely the results will not stop here, we wish Mai Phuong will always be confident to achieve new results", expressed the Head of the Organizing Committee of Miss Universe Vietnam.

Miss World 2024 Final: Miss Mai Phuong and more than 100 contestants compete

The Miss World 2024 finale kicked off with a performance by 112 contestants in national costumes. Afterwards, the beauties appeared in gorgeous evening gowns.

After the evening gown performance of Mai Phuong - representative of Vietnam and more than 100 contestants, the Miss World Organizing Committee announced the secondary awards within the framework of the contest. Accordingly, 13 beauties will be directly entered into the Top 40 Miss World 2024 including: Representative of Martinique won the Top Model award; Representative of Croatia won the Sports Beauty award; Representative of Vietnam won the Multimedia Challenge award; Representatives of Botswana, England, Lebanon, Nigeria and Zimbabwe won the Head-to-head Challenge; Representatives of Brazil, Ukraine, Uganda, Nepal won the Beauty with a Purpose award; Representative of Tunisia won the Talent Beauty award. Thus, the Miss World Organizing Committee will have to select 27 more contestants into the final Top 40.

According to the Miss World Organizing Committee announcement, the remaining contestants in the Top 40 include: Belize, Canada, Dominican Republic, Peru, Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, Cameroon, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Gibraltar, Italy, Spain, Wales, Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Turkey.

Miss World 2024 Final Results: Top 12 Revealed

The Brazilian representative was named by the MC as one of the Top 12 of the 71st Miss World. The next contestants announced as Top 12 are: Trinidad and Tobago; Botswana; Martinique; Uganda; Czech Republic; Czech Republic; England; Spain; Australia; India and Lebanon.

The Top 8 Miss World 2024 announced by the contest's Organizing Committee include: Brazil; Trinidad and Tobago; Botswana; Uganda; Czech Republic; England; India; Lebanon. The contestants in the Top 8 officially entered the behavioral round.

After the Top 8's question and answer session, the Miss World Organizing Committee announced the Top 4 winners of each region, including: Trinidad and Tobago (America and Caribbean); Botswana (Africa); Czech Republic (Europe); Lebanon (Asia - Pacific). Of which, the host representative India regretfully stopped at the Top 8.

After that, the Miss World Organizing Committee announced the title of 1st Runner-up World 2024 belongs to the Lebanese beauty. The beauty from the Czech Republic has become the new owner of the Miss World 2024 crown.
