With the goal of discovering new Vietnamese models, besides the necessary skills to become ambassadors for commercial TV commercials, contestants from The Face Vietnam will also represent designers and fashion brands. For this reason, in episode 3, the show's producers introduced a catwalk challenge, focusing on posing in front of the camera. They invested in a professional runway, incorporating many challenging elements and a high level of expertise, to give contestants practical experience and help them handle potential situations during shows. This was the "continuous catwalk" – a complex combination of runway terrain.

The panel of guest judges, comprised of seasoned and renowned figures in the Vietnamese fashion industry, includes Ms. Trang Le - founder and president of Vietnam International Fashion Week, designer Adrian Anh Tuan, and stylist Le Minh Ngoc.

In the catwalk challenge, this was the strength of the coaching panel: Anh Thư, Vũ Thu Phương, Minh Triệu - Kỳ Duyên, as they have many years of experience in the Vietnamese fashion industry, having served as vedettes and first faces for many famous designers. Therefore, in the Master Class (sub-round), the four coaches Anh Thư, Vũ Thu Phương, Minh Triệu - Kỳ Duyên were the ones who directly guided, directed, and scored the contestants. After going through the challenges to hone their catwalk skills, Coach Minh Triệu - Kỳ Duyên's team brought home the first victory in the master class thanks to the outstanding performance of contestant Tuấn Ngọc.

For the main challenge, host Nam Trung presented a tough task with a series of "continuous catwalk" challenges: imagine yourself as the vedette of Vietnam International Fashion Week. All contestants must wear bulky outfits prepared by the organizers, overcome all obstacles including a sloping catwalk with stairs, shoot a one-shot video on a dolly, walk backward into the backstage area, change outfits, and then immediately walk onto the red carpet stage showcasing the aura of a star.

Designer Adrian Anh Tuan stirred up excitement among the contestants with the prize: the winning team in episode 3 of The Face Vietnam 2023 will immediately have a show at his Spring/ Summer 2023 collection in Ho Tram ( Ba Ria - Vung Tau ).

Coach Anh Thu secured her first victory thanks to her well-balanced team and the "comeback" of her only male contestant, Minh Toai. Entering the judging and elimination room, "Queen" Anh Thu transformed into the character "Ma Muoi" from the film in which she once played the lead role, hoping the contestants would confront their own fears and overcome them in the elimination room.

Coach Anh Thư caused a sensation by recreating "Ma Mười" after 15 years.

Coach Anh Thu gave both contestants Hoang Oanh and Hoang Hoc a chance to correct their mistakes in terms of clothing and catwalk. With this final opportunity, transgender contestant Hoang Hoc went without shoes while wearing an oversized mermaid dress, and this was the factor that led Coach Anh Thu to decide to eliminate Hoang Hoc. The intense battle between the coaches thus continued in the waiting room...
