Coming to the catwalk challenge, this is the strength of the coaching team: Anh Thu, Vu Thu Phuong, Minh Trieu - Ky Duyen, because they are the ones who have fought for many years in the Vietnamese fashion industry, having taken on the role of vedette, firstface for many famous designers. Therefore, in the Master class (sub-competition round), the four coaches Anh Thu, Vu Thu Phuong, Minh Trieu - Ky Duyen are the ones who directly guide, direct and score the contestants. After going through the challenges of practicing catwalk skills, the team of coaches Minh Trieu - Ky Duyen brought home the first victory in the master class thanks to the excellent performance of contestant Tuan Ngoc.

Coming to the main challenge, host Nam Trung brought a difficult topic with a series of "continuous catwalk" challenges: imagine being the vedette of the Vietnam International Fashion Week catwalk, all contestants will have to wear bulky costumes prepared in advance by the organizers, overcome all obstacles including a steep catwalk with stairs, make a one-shoot video on a dolly, walk backwards to the backstage, change clothes and immediately go up to the red carpet to show the charisma of a star.
Designer Adrian Anh Tuan stirred up the spirits of the "fighters" with the prize that the winning team in episode 3 of The Face Vietnam 2023 will immediately have a show at the Thong Dong spring- summer 2023 collection taking place in Ho Tram (Ba Ria - Vung Tau).

Coach Anh Thu won the first victory thanks to the advantage of having an even team and the "comeback" of the only male contestant - Minh Toai. Entering the evaluation and elimination room, "big sister" Anh Thu transformed into the character "Ma Muoi" in the movie in which she played the main role, hoping that the contestants would face their own fears and overcome them in the elimination room.

Coach Anh Thu gave both contestants Hoang Oanh and Hoang Hoc a chance to correct their mistakes in terms of costumes and catwalk. With this last chance, transgender contestant Hoang Hoc did not wear shoes when wearing an oversized mermaid dress, and this was also the factor that made Coach Anh Thu decide to eliminate Hoang Hoc. The battle between the coaches thus continued to be tense in the waiting room...
