People are excited and enjoy sports activities at the series of events "Colors of Uncle Ho's City"

A large number of people were present at Bach Dang Wharf on the evening of April 19 to watch the special sports performances.

The event "Colors of Uncle Ho's City" is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). On the night of April 19, the opening ceremony of the program took place at Nguyen Hue Walking Street with many special performances.

Among the activities that attracted much attention were the cruise ship parade, water sports performances (sailing, jet-skiing, Flyboarding, paddle boarding and paragliding...) and art shows at the Bach Dang Wharf barge stage on the Saigon River.

A large number of people gathered in this area to watch the unique performances, performed by the City's Water Sports Center and related agencies and units.

Many people were excited and delighted with the unique acrobatic performances and difficult movements performed by athletes with many years of experience.

Present at the Bach Dang Wharf area to watch the event, Loan (26 years old, living in Binh Thanh District) emotionally shared: "Although it is not yet April 30, the atmosphere is really wonderful. Being able to join everyone makes me very emotional. Tonight's programs are very special and have many unique features that are very meaningful for this occasion."

Mr. Hoang Son Hai (residing in Thu Duc City) said: "I and the people of Ho Chi Minh City have been waiting for this event for a long time. Today, witnessing these performances, I feel very satisfied."

In particular, if city residents missed the opening night of the event "Colors of Uncle Ho's City" on the evening of April 19, they still have the opportunity to experience special art and sports performances on the nights of April 26 and 29.
