At the announcement ceremony of the electronic authentication service of FPT Long Chau pharmacy on VNeID on the afternoon of December 13, Colonel Vu Van Tan, Deputy Director of the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order, Director of the National Population Data Center (Ministry of Public Security) commented that this is an important step in promoting digital transformation, enhancing transparency in the operations of pharmacies and business organizations in general.

According to Colonel Tan, many people are still being taken advantage of when buying ineffective drugs despite being advised by doctors and pharmacies. Part of the reason is the lack of transparency in the drug sales process, requiring a connection between doctors, people and pharmacies through technology and digital transformation.
The Ministry of Public Security is currently implementing authentication and identification of three core data sets including citizens, organizations, businesses, and locations. Once identification is complete, citizens can connect with authenticated agencies and organizations through a single application, VNeID.
Colonel Vu Van Tan emphasized that if the Government and businesses cooperate closely, it will create big data for the health sector, contributing to improving the quality of public health care.
FPT Long Chau is one of the pioneering enterprises implementing this electronic authentication. Colonel Tan said that the cooperation between FPT Long Chau pharmacy and the Government will bring transparency in drug sales, while helping this pharmacy pay taxes in accordance with regulations and ensure government control.
After completing the authentication, FPT Long Chau pharmacy will become part of the Electronic Health Book in VNeID. This application is expected to be updated on December 15, 2024. From there, people can track personal health information and buy medicine online through VNeID.
To do this, FPT Long Chau has coordinated with the RAR Center - under the National Population Data Center to integrate the system and upgrade the technology infrastructure, ensuring safety standards. This online medicine purchasing utility is expected to serve people nationwide, with coverage in 63 provinces and cities.
At the event, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, General Director of FPT, shared that Long Chau has identified digital transformation as a core strategy since its establishment. The company currently has more than 400 technology engineers and applies AI to improve user experience. With more than 2,000 pharmacies and vaccination centers nationwide, FPT Long Chau is committed to continuing to improve service quality.
When the Electronic Health Book on VNeID is widely used, people will no longer have to carry documents every time they go to the doctor or buy medicine.
This application helps people continuously monitor their health, reduce costs, reduce the burden on the health system, and provide accurate and timely information to doctors during diagnosis and treatment.
In the coming time, FPT Long Chau will continue to cooperate with state agencies to expand the features and services of the application, bring greater value to the community and build a comprehensive digital ecosystem in the field of healthcare.
