According to the Northern Mountainous Region Hydrometeorological Station, tonight and tomorrow (September 12), Phu Tho province is affected by the tropical convergence zone with an axis through the North Central region, so the weather in the province will generally have rain at night and early morning, moderate rain and thunderstorms in some places, locally heavy rain in some places, and rain in some places later. The temperature will increase slightly and the humidity will gradually decrease. The average temperature is from 24-29 degrees Celsius.

Floods on the Lo River continued to rise. At 3:00 p.m. on September 11, the water level on the Lo River at Vu Quang station was 21.19 m (0.69 m higher than BĐ3); Viet Tri station was 15.00 m (0.10 m higher than BĐ2).

Flood on Thao River is receding, at 3:00 p.m. on September 11, the water level on Thao River at Phu Tho station was at 18.06m (0.14m lower than BĐ2).

Forecast in the next 12 hours, flood on Lo River in Vu Quang is still above level 3, in Viet Tri is above level 2; flood on Thao River in Phu Tho continues to decrease but is still above level 1. In the next 12-24 hours: Flood on Thao River in Phu Tho continues to decrease below level 1. Flood on Lo River in Vu Quang is below level 3, in Viet Tri is below level 2.

People need to be on guard against the risk of flash floods and landslides in areas in the province, especially in districts such as: Cam Khe, Doan Hung, Ha Hoa, Lam Thao, Tam Nong, Tan Son, Thanh Ba, Thanh Son, Thanh Thuy, Yen Lap, Phu Tho town. Flood disaster risk warning level: Level 2.

Floods on rivers and streams and floods from reservoirs can cause flooding in low-lying areas along rivers and streams, affecting water transport, aquaculture, agricultural production on riverbanks and river banks, and landslides along both sides of rivers.
