Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Le My Nhan, Deputy Secretary of the Administrative and Traffic Police Youth Union, Vinh Long Provincial Police, said that today, February 14, members of this youth union organized the distribution of mineral water and milk and combined propaganda to remind people to drive at the correct speed, comply with traffic regulations, and ensure safety for themselves and those around them.

"Today, the Youth Union organized the distribution of more than 4,000 bottles of mineral water and more than 500 boxes of milk to people passing through the traffic control point on National Highway 1, in Loc Hoa Commune, Long Ho District, Vinh Long. Everyone was happy, thanked the task force and sent their best wishes to the officers on duty here. The entire funding for giving water and milk came from socialized sources," said Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Le My Nhan.
Mr. Tran Tuan Kha (residing in Binh Minh Town, Vinh Long) drove his wife away from home and was surprised to receive mineral water. Mr. Kha and his wife thanked the officers and soldiers and sent their New Year wishes to everyone.

According to the leader of the Traffic Police Department of Vinh Long Province, tomorrow, February 15 (the 6th day of the Lunar New Year), many agencies and businesses will resume operations after the 2024 Lunar New Year holiday. People from the Western provinces will leave their hometowns to return to Ho Chi Minh City and the Eastern provinces to work.
People were surprised when the traffic control checkpoint became a place to distribute mineral water and milk, along with wishes for a peaceful New Year.
In addition to strengthening traffic safety control, especially alcohol concentration and speed control, the Traffic Police Department also reminds traffic participants to comply and ensure safety when participating in traffic.
On the same day, a working delegation led by Colonel Tra Quang Thanh, Deputy Director of Vinh Long Provincial Police, visited and encouraged the forces working at the checkpoints to ensure traffic order during Tet and the traffic police and order teams of the districts.
